Shotgun Shooting Event Survey.

We are considering hosting a shotgun shooting event at the South St. Paul Sportman’s Club in September to raise funds to get out the vote for our candidates in the November election and give voters an opportunity to meet some of them. The shooting will be followed by a brats-and-burgers meal and the opportunity to meet and hear some of our candidates on the November ballot. We also expect to have a “silent auction.”
To plan for the event, we need to estimate the number of attendees, so we are sending this brief survey. If you are interested in joining us for such an event, please complete a brief survey by clicking HERE by 2nd August.
Event details:
- On a weekday evening in September, between 5 and 7:30 pm.
- At the Sportsman’s Club at Gun Club Road in South St. Paul.
- Fun, competitive “Annie Oakley” shooting game run by a Club range manager. Fast-moving, so there will be several elimination rounds and opportunities to participate and step in and out of the line.
- Opportunity for some individual shooting of clay pigeons as well.
- Food will be served and candidate introductions and brief speeches will begin around 6:30.
Participation/Registration:
- Probably no more than 35 (adult) shooters can be accommodated.
- Registration fee of between $60 and $120 for shooting and food, with reduced fee for non-shooters ($35?). (To be calculated using this survey.)
- Pre-registration and payment on the web, with discount for early registrants.
What shooters need:
- A shotgun (or rent one from the Gun Club for $20).
- Ear and eye protection, and a liability waiver.
- Shotgun shells for the Annie Oakley are included in the ticket price.
Thank you for filling out the survey and helping us plan. Please contact Alan Shilepsky at ashilep@bitstream.net if you have any questions.
