2026 SD53 Resolutions.

SD53 Precinct Delegation has voted in or approved these resolutions to be sent up to CD2 to continue the resolution process. Click HERE to view/download a PDF Version.

  1. The MN Republican Party calls upon the MN Legislature to restore the previous State Flag as the official flag of the State of MN.
  2. Any future proposal to alter the state flag must be approved by the voters of Minnesota through a statewide referendum.
  3. Guarantee one vote for each eligible voter by verifying voter rolls, repealing the practice of “vouching”, requiring voter ID with validated citizenship to receive a ballot.
  4. Ensure election results are tabulated and provided to the public on election night.
  5. No use of electronic machines. Use and hand-count paper ballots.
  6. Use only standardized, preprinted, secure, and hand-marked paper ballots.
  7. Make more use of Post-Election Review (PER) audits, with auditors elected (not appointed).
  8. Ensure that absentee ballot boards are staffed in a bipartisan manner.
  9. Eliminate the use of on-line voter registration.
  10. Enforce election laws and rules by greater accountability and penalties for election fraud and by giving citizens “standing” to enforce election law.
  11. Paid employees of any legislator should not be allowed to serve in a MN GOP executive position or committee.
  12. Political offices should have term limits both on the total number of terms (2-4) and the number of consecutive terms (2-4).
  13. All political candidates must make full financial disclosures (e.g. yearly income taxes, all foreign investments, foreign contributions, any BITCOIN/wallets) prior to being allowed on any ballot.
  14. DFL gubernatorial candidates must be pressed to condemn the massive financial fraud or else admit that they don’t think it was all that bad.
  15. Politicians should not be given paid medical insurance while in office, or pensions.
  16. The State of MN must create an independent auditor to oversee, investigate and evaluate programs and contracts, with reporting of findings to the public.
  17. Eliminate increases in property taxes and eliminate all tax on social security benefits for those over age 65.
  18. Being a member of the MN GOP party should not be subject to an affordability issue. All conventions should have a cap on the cost to make it attractive so all can attend. The GOP membership should vote at every convention and address the amount it will cost to attend the following year.
  19. To fight back against school teaching that is “woke”, eliminate Critical Race Theory and equity outcomes from public school curriculum, and remove requirements that teachers must teach CRT if they want their teaching license to be renewed.
  20. Establish Education Savings Accounts – expand tax credits, deductions and educational savings accounts for students attending religious schools or that are home-schooled.
  21. Support school choice, thereby empowering parents.
  22. Repeal or amend the paid family leave program.
  23. Establish “sunset” provisions on entitlement state programs.
  24. All MN government entities must uphold Title 8 of US code 8USC1611 – all aliens who are not qualified aliens are ineligible for public benefits. No government funding of illegal aliens.
  25. Home ownership must be in the reach of more people. We support policies that promote affordability, such as expanding the Minnesota child tax credit deeper into the middle class to reduce the tax burden on families, as well as removing regulatory burdens that diminish the supply and increase the prices of homes.
  26. Repeal the REAL ID Act and any identification system that undermines constitutional rights, privacy and state sovereignty and oppose state laws that comply with REAL ID Act and call on state legislators to repeal such laws and uphold constitutional limits.
  27. Repeal the MN “Driver’s License for All” which allows unauthorized immigrants to obtain a driver’s license.
  28. Ensure strict adherence to immigration enforcement, denaturalization, and deportation to preserve Minnesota’s liberty, Christian heritage, culture, common laws, earned income and our homes. Support the valiant work of ICE, Border Patrol, and Law Enforcement in securing our communities. To ensure the safety of all citizens, all law enforcement in the State of Minnesota must participate in ICE’s 287(g) program.
  29. Illegal aliens must not be counted in the census for allocating congressional representation.
  30. The MN driver’s license must distinguish both citizenship and legal residency.
  31. The State of Minnesota should reinstate the Positive Alternatives Act, which gave women in need and their unborn children lifesaving access to assistance and alternatives to abortion through a state grant program for pro-life pregnancy resource centers.
  32. Restore the pro-life plank in the GOP platform.
  33. State law should protect innocent human life from conception until natural death.
  34. The GOP must maintain a pro-life commitment and work to significantly reduce or outlaw abortion.
  35. Oppose assisted suicide.
  36. The Minnesota law concerning babies born alive should be revised to preserve the life and health of the born-alive infant.
  37. Cut off all funding to Planned Parenthood permanently.
  38. Any medical provider that commits an abortion should be charged with murder.
  39. Support passage of a “heartbeat abortion law” that is similar to laws enacted in Texas and Mississippi.
  40. Enact a Minnesota child grooming prevention act to create a stand-alone felony charge for grooming a minor child (under 18). Set graduated felony penalties and add lifetime supervision/satellite monitoring for the most severe cases (young victims of adult offenders).
  41. Support legislation that upholds parental (biological, foster and adoptive parents) rights, home-state jurisdiction and protects therapeutic choice. Uphold parental rights as preeminent and which cannot be stripped due to conscience-held beliefs. Ban minor child removal or custody penalties for non-affirmation of so-called “gender affirming” care. Protect therapeutic choice, free speech and faith-consistent counseling for minors and adults. End “sanctuary” state policies, especially as it relates to minors regarding “gender affirming” care.
  42. Protect minors from irreversible gender medicalization. Support legislation that requires evidence-based medical standards, informed consent, and parental consent. Repeal mandated medical insurance coverage for “gender affirming” care. Criminally prosecute medical personnel who performs non-evidence-based gender therapies.
  43. Support limitations on the ability of technology companies to market predatory and/or addictive tech products or to capture the data of minors without parental consent. Laws should include requirements that parents need to consent to the use of social media by their minor children
  44. Protect second amendment rights including upholding and supporting “stand your ground” laws to ensure property protection, individuals right to defend themselves without the duty to retreat, especially in situations where the gun owner feels threatened.
  45. Sharia Law must not be enforceable in Minnesota.
  46. Minnesota refuses to accept the introduction, sale, or consumption of artificial meat or produce generated through artificial means (cloning, 3D printing etc.). In addition, the law should explicitly prohibit any and all forms of cannibalism in the State of Minnesota.
  47. America First Principles: 1. Reaffirm unwavering commitment to the “America First” doctrine as the guiding principle for all policy decisions, legislation and governance. 2. Advance legislation that secures our southern and northern borders, enforces immigration laws and prioritizes legal immigration that benefits American communities 3. Pursue trade policies that protect American industry, renegotiate unfair deals and bring jobs back to our shores, ensuring that American workers are not disadvantaged by foreign competition. 4. Promote energy independence through the responsible development of domestic resources reducing reliance on foreign adversaries and lowering costs for American families 5. Strengthen our military and alliance only when they serve American interests avoiding endless wars and focusing on deterrence against threats from nations like China, Russia and Iran 6. Dedicate to fiscal responsibility, tax cuts for working families, deregulation to unleash innovation and investments in infrastructure that create American jobs 7. Call upon elected officials, candidates and members to embody these principles in their actions, ensuring every decision asks “Does this put America first?”.
  48. Pass the “manufactured home residents bill of rights” (protecting owners from excessive rent increases and predatory practices).
