Inver Grove Heights is reviewing a proposal for a 50,000-square-foot data center at 5842 Carmen Ave E that would consume five megawatts (equivalent to the usage of 4000 average households) of power daily. While the project must comply with strict noise and light standards, a recently approved one-year moratorium on data centers has temporarily placed this development on hold.
