The True Cost of Failure in Education

The Minnesota Department of Education’s latest numbers are alarming: 50% of our children can’t read at grade level. Kids who don’t read proficiently by 3rd grade are four times more likely to drop out. Two-thirds will end up in jail or on welfare.

While our children struggle, Tim Walz and the DFL have squandered an $18 billion surplus, raised taxes, and spent their time pushing radical policies instead of fixing our schools.

Republicans have a plan to restore the Minnesota Miracle. It starts with reading, writing, and math — not political experiments in the classroom.
